Dear Valued Patients,

 

After much consideration and a heavy heart, I regret to inform you that Moore Dermatology will officially close on May 20, 2026.

 

Over the past several weeks, I have worked diligently to find a qualified provider to continue caring for patients at the clinic. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, I have been unable to secure appropriate staffing to allow the practice to continue operating at the level of care our patients deserve. 

 

Over the past two years, since my father, Dr. Milton D. Moore tragically lost his life after being struck by a drunk driver, I have worked hard to honor his legacy by keeping the practice open despite my primary residence and medical practice being based in San Antonio. Continuing to serve the patients and community that meant so much to him has been deeply important to me.

 

It has been an incredible honor to serve this community for the past 40 years. Your trust, loyalty, and support throughout the years have meant more to me and my family than words can adequately express.

 

Although Moore Dermatology will be closing, I remain committed to helping ensure continuity of your dermatologic care. Patients will have the option to continue seeing me through telemedicine appointments at Liv Dermatology in San Antonio, Texas. In addition, patients who prefer in-person care may seek continued dermatologic services at several dermatology practices experienced in treating skin of color, including:

For patients who utilize Moore Unique skincare products, those products will continue to be available for purchase online through www.mooreunique.com or at least for the next month in the office.  Please call before to confirm someone is present. 

 

Patients may request copies of their medical records by contacting our office at 713-741-3376 or by emailing paola@moorederm.com.  We encourage patients to request records as soon as possible to help facilitate a smooth transition of care.
